Breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer in women and the second most common cause of cancer related deaths in women in the U.S.
Male breast cancer does also occur and accounts for about 1% of all cancer related deaths in men.
Symptoms:-
~ A lump or thickening in or near the underarm and breast area
~ Nipple tenderness
~ Any changes in the shape or size of the breast
~ The nipple turned inward into the breast
~ Nipple discharge
~ The skin of the breast, areola, or nipple may be scaly, red, or swollen
Treatment:-
Women with breast cancer have many treatment options available these days. These include surgery, radiation therapy, hormone therapy and chemotherapy. Many women require more than one type of treatment.
