If you really want to do this then you are going to have to put some persistent effort towards doing so. You need to analyze what it is unhealthy about your current lifestyle and then change these things for the better.

While this may sound very generic, it's what works. Weight loss is actually quite simple, it's just a matter of whether or not you are willing to work for it.

I think everyone hear is giving good advice. Just remember that to lose 1 pound you need to burn 3500 calories! That equates to burning 500 calories a day to lose a pound a week week or 1000 a day to shed 2 pounds a week which is realistic and safe. You do not need any particular diet or exercise program as long as you do watch what you eat and do some sort of exercise 5 times a week! Make it simple. Take care of your diet and be physically active.

1. Stay away from fried items, sweets, chocolates, ice creams etc. Always prefer to have healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, sprouts etc.

2. Exercising regularly, having a good walk in the morning or evening, yoga and other physical exercise will help to reduce unnecessary weight.

Change your lifestyle. If you're always eating more than you need or often eating from fastfood, stop it. Eat more healthy food. If you're not active, get active! Exercise!
